Lately we have been a bit slow posting due to our dog Mila being diagnosed with Addison’s Disease and giving us quite a scare.
Now that she is stable and we have our heads around managing it, we are catching up on posting!
This image was one of those lucky times where you go out chasing a sunset and it suddenly changes into an approaching electric storm.
Luckily we had the perfect location we knew about and hadn’t photographed yet, so we raced out there and began shooting.
Only getting small bolts in the far distance and starting to feel rain we thought it might not be a winner this time.
While shooting on timelapse we would stop every five minutes to correct our settings as the sun was going down and it was becoming very dark.
Just as the rain was becoming too much and the bolts were happening all around us this cracker happened!
Becoming our first Abandoned Storm image in the series.
We couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome!
