It is about time we shared some more of our Astro images, so here is an image from late in the Astro season last year.
For a while we have been wanting to find one of these dead trees with nothing around it for a low Galactic Center image, but it isn’t as easy as it sounds.
This one just happened to be on it’s own and in the perfect spot for a low horizontal Galactic Center shot, which was easy to plan with the help of the PhotoPills App.
We used a single speedlight to light pain during the exposure with an orange gel to help add a warm tone on the lighting in the foreground.
Lighting from an indirect angle helped add dimension to the tree.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed shooting it!
