Recently while visiting family in Bundaberg we had the opportunity to capture some coastal images both from the ground and the air, which is a big change to our usual scenery out in the bush!
With the help of our local “tour guides” Tim Sweetapple, Natalie Sweetapple and the Little Daisy Dachshund we were shown all the local beaches and farmland.
This is one of many images we were able to capture at Elliot Heads that we are very excited to show you all!
We don’t often have super windy conditions out in the bush, so launching the Phantom 4 Pro+ in the extremely windy conditions at the beach was a great test of its stabilization and launch controls.
I used the Hoodman Drone Controller Belt to have my hands free and not have too much strain on my back or neck from prolonged shooting.
This Birds Eye image was shot from 120m which is the legal height at which drones are able to reach, which enables the 24mm lens to fit as much as possible in one frame.
Many more images to come from the visit to the Wide Bay-Burnett Region!
